Betr.: Rücktritt von Christian Baarz Liebe Freunde, ich habe kürzlich von seiner Entscheidung und der bevorstehenden Ankündigung erfahren. Aber die Möglichkeit, dass so etwas geschehen könnte, war mir bewusst, schon deshalb, weil man als Coach stets auf alle Möglichkeiten gefasst sein muss (was ist, wenn der QB sich verletzt, was, wenn es am Gameday regnet, usw.). Dies hat momentan keine Auswirkung auf meine Arbeit. Ich setze die Saisonvorbereitung fort und werde Mitte April in Hamburg ankommen, um sofort mit den Meetings und dem Training zu beginnen. Football, wie immer, bleibt derselbe: German Bowl, Deutscher Meister ("Threepeat" im Jahr 2003). Ich glaube, dass es in jeder Organisation bei einem Führungswechsel, ob es nun ein Präsident, ein Trainer oder ein Zeitungsverleger ist, so ist, dass die Mitglieder, das Team oder das Personal, die von diesem Wechsel betroffen sind, die Möglichkeit eines positiven Schritts nach vorn sehen sollten. Einige Menschen sehen das Risiko innerhalb einer Möglichkeit, andere Menschen sehen die Möglichkeiten in einem Risiko. Der Verein Hamburg Blue Devils hat eine starke Tradition und Gewinnliste und die Fähigkeiten, die momentanen Probleme zu überwinden. Das Potential für eine noch größere Zukunft ist vorhanden. But the possibility has been there in my mind that this could happen, only because as a coach, one must always be thinking ahead to all of the possibilities (what if the QB is injured, what if it rains on gameday, etc.).  This has no effect on my work in the moment. I continue to prepare for the season and will be arriving in Hamburg in mid-April and will begin immediately our meetings and practice. Football , as always, remains the same: the German Bowl and Deutschmeister ( 3peat in ' 03 ) .  I think that in any organization, when there is change at the top, whether it is at President or Head Coach or newspaper Editor, then the members or team or staff that are effected by this change, should look for the possibility of a positive step forward.. Some people look at the risk in an opportunity, other people look at the opportunity in a risk. The HBD Club has a strong tradition and record of success, and the ability to overcome the problems of the moment. The potential is there for an even greater future. zurück
